17th National Conference of Physics
The Hellenic Physical Society is organizing the 17th National Conference on Physics:
«PHYSICS MEETS SOCIETY “
Discoveries – Achievements – Prospect for Physics of the 21th Century.
The conference is taking place from the 15th to 18th March, 2018 at Grand Hotel, Thessaloniki in collaboration with the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Municipality of Thessaloniki, Region of Central Macedonia and the Tourist Organization of Thessaloniki.
Aim of the Conference
The 17th Conference of the Hellenic Society of Physicists aspires to set the stage for distinguished and excelling scientists in our country and abroad to present their work on contemporary Physics. At the same time, the conference aims to provide an opportunity for young researchers to present their work, for students to submit their first thesis, as well as for colleagues to put forward their concerns and suggestions as for any improvement of the subject of Physics. One particular aim of the conference is to build bridges of communication and cooperation among the scientific field, education, society and the individual.
